  • Club Toastmaster of the Year Form - Each year it is suggested that each Club select a Toastmaster of the Year to recognize one member whose educational accomplishments, Club service, dedication, and enthusiasm are exceptional. All Club members should be eligible. Special certificates and plaques are available from World headquarters; consult your Supply Catalog.
  • District Toastmaster of the Year Form - Each year Areas, Divisions, and the District select a Toastmaster of the Year to recognize one Toastmaster whose dedication, commitment, and effort make a significant contribution toward the Mission of the District.
It is suggested that each Club select a candidate for the District Toastmaster of the Year using the District TMOY form and submit that candidate to their Area Governor for concideration as Area Toastmaster of the Year. The winners of the Area TMOY awards are then submitted to the Division Governors for consideration as Division TMOY. The winners of the Division TMOY awards are then submitted to the District for consideration as District TMOY. The District TMOY is chosen by the council of Division Governors and top District officers (District Governor, LGET, LGM, PRO, Secretary, Treasurer).
NOTE: Top District officers (as listed above), Division Governors, Area Governors and past District Toastmaster of the Year award recipients are not eligible for the Area, Division or District Toastmaster of the Year awards.
  • Area Governor of the Year Form
  • Don Murray Award Information - Each year the Don Murray award is presented at the District 6 Spring Conference to a Toastmaster who has worked hard beyond the club level without actually holding a District office.
  • Lorin Pollmann Award Information - Each year the Lorin Pollmann award is presented at the District Spring Convention to a Toastmaster Club that has conducted Speechcraft sessions to help educate members of their community and to help promote membership growth in Toastmasters.
  • Lou Novak Award Information - Each year the Lou Novak award will be presented at the District Spring Convention to a Toastmasters member who contributes to the growth of new clubs in District 6.
