How to become a Distinguished Area:

  1. Clubs must have September dues received ON TIME
    (2 for 3-club areas, 3 for 4- and 5-club areas, and 4 for 6-club areas). 
  2. Clubs must have March dues received ON TIME
    (2 for 3-club areas, 3 for 4- and 5-club areas, and 4 for 6-club areas). 
  3. Area must achieve CC goal
    (5 for 3-club areas, 7 for 4-club areas, 8 for 5-club areas, 10 for 6-club areas). 
  4. Area must achieve AC goal
    (1 for 3-club areas, 2 for 4- and 5-club areas, 3 for 6-club areas). 
  5. Area must have a certain number of distinguished clubs (DCP)
    (1 for 3-club areas, 2 for 4-clubs areas, 3 for 5- and 6-club areas).
    HELP YOUR CLUBS SET THEIR GOALS .

If an area achieves any 4 of the above 5 goals, it is DISTINGUISHED

  1. July-October club visits must be submitted on time
    (2 for 3-club areas, 3 for 4-club areas, and 4 for 5- and 6-club areas).
    Plan ahead!  
  2. January-April club visits must be submitted on time
    (2 for 3-club areas, 3 for 4-club areas, and 4 for 5- and 6-club areas).
    Plan ahead!  
  3. Area must finish year with a certain number of clubs ABOVE TWENTY members
    (1 for 3-club areas, 2 for 4-club areas, 3 for 5- and 6-club areas).
    *REMEMBER ADDING A NEW CLUB DOES NOT COUNT AGAINST YOUR CLUB BASE!

Any area that achieves ALL EIGHT of the above goals will be SELECT DISTINGUISHED AREA

  1. Have a NET GAIN of at least one club
    (if you lose one you must add two, if you lose none you must add one).

Any area achieving ALL NINE of the above will achieve PRESIDENT'S DISTINGUISHED AREA, the highest award for an area in Toastmasters!
