Spring Convention 2009 - Speech Contests

A Thank You From Our District 6 International Speech Contest Winner, Chez Raginiak
Winning at the District level of the International Speech Contest last Saturday was most definitely one of the highlights of my life!
As always, the victory belongs to all of us and not to me only. It was the work of everybody who helped me polish (not: Polish :-)) the speech through evaluations and feedback. It was the work of all the leaders who organized the contests at each level and made them fun and enriching. It was the work of all the hard-working Toastmasters who made our Spring Convention such a successful event. And all my friends and the people closest to my heart who stood by me and still do.
I am very grateful for everything you have done to make us all better speakers, better leaders, and better people.
I will do my best at the Region IV contest and am looking forward to seeing many of you in Canada.
Most sincerely,
Chez Raginiak
