Toastmaster of the Year: Submit your Club TMOY – this member could be District 6 TMOY!

Each Toastmasters club has talented, hard-working and dedicated “everyday people” as members. Each year one member stands out because of his or her participation in and outside the club. This member supports their follow members and the toastmaster organization. These members are indeed our Toastmasters of the Year (TMOY).
This year we want all the clubs to select a TMOY and send the required form with some specific examples of what this member has done. Please be sure to get your completed forms submitted to your Area Governors.

Here are some important pieces of information for you to know:
1. There will be only one form that will be used from club level to selection of District TMOY. Nomination Form
2. Clubs are encouraged to track member progress and achievements for the current Toastmasters year only (July 1, 2010 through mid-May 2011).
3. Clubs select a TMOY by May 31, 2011 and submit to their Area Governor.
4. Area Governors will select the Area TMOY by June 15, 2011 and notify the winners by June 30, 2011.
5. Division Governors will select the Division TMOY by June 22, 2011 and will follow the selection process for District TMOY.
6. The Division and District Toastmaster of the Year will be announced at the July 16, 2011 TELI.
7. Along with the usual plaques for Area, Division and District TMOY winners we’ll have added recognition:
a. The Area TMOY winners will be listed on the D6 Web site
b. The Division TMOY winners will receive a $25 Resource Fair certificate
c. The District TMOY winner will receive $50 toward the 2011 fall conference or 2012 spring convention expenses
