Greetings District Leaders!
When you communicate with the clubs, encourage them to read the monthly
newsletter.
Area Visits: The deadline to complete the second
round visit has passed. All Area Governor reports should have been submitted by
now. If you were not able to visit a club before the deadline, I encourage you
to visit the club before June 30, 2005. While there is no “credit” for this
visit, every club deserves to have a District Officer visit them.
Club Leads Do you have an idea for a new club?
We need club leads. Please contact Jeannette at jeannette@d6tm.org with any ideas that you
have.
Toastmaster of the Year and Area
Governor of the Year Awards: Each club in an Area should select a Club
Toastmaster
of the Year. The form that they should use can be downloaded from www.d6tm.org. Clubs should forward
the name
and form for their TMOY to their Area Governor by May 31, 2005. Area Governors
need to select the Area Toastmaster of the Year by June 15, 2005. At that time,
the name and form for the Area TMOY should be submitted to the Division
Governor. Division Governors should select their Division TMOY by June 30, 2005.
Division Governors should also select the Division Area Governor of the Year at
the same time. The names and forms for the
Division
TMOY and AGOY should be submitted to the District Governor by July 2nd.
On Saturday, July 9th, the District
TMOY and AGOY
will be chosen by a committee made up of Division Governors and top officers.
